The Wake of Dimitrius: Mourning of the Fair Maidens
I finished this months ago, but I only just got a professional photo taken of it. I like it, it took a long time to do. This was done with pencil crayons, except for the sky, which was done with pastel. I was inspired by Sopor Aeternus and his ridiculously dramatic and theatrical facial poses. The one in the middle is the guy's wife, and the others are her sisters. The one on the right end always loved her sister's husband and killed him because she couldn't stand seeing them so happy together.
